This is the agreement between you and the owner of the Petfolio app. By creating an account you accept the terms written below.
Petfolio is a health and care diary for your pet: entries about food, walks, weight and medication, a health record, reports, and an assistant named Churchill.
Churchill builds his observations from the entries in your diary and health record. The app does not diagnose, does not prescribe treatment and is not a substitute for seeing a vet: decisions about your pet's health are yours to make together with a veterinary doctor. If your pet is unwell, it needs a doctor, not an app.
Churchill's answers are produced by the large language model Claude from Anthropic (USA). What exactly is sent for processing, and what is not, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
You can enter into this agreement if you are 16 or older. If you are under 16, you may not use the app.
You need an account to use the app: an email address and a password. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account.
You can delete your account in the app: Settings → Legal & data → Delete account. Deleting the account also deletes your profile, diary, health record, reports and the photos in the cloud. This cannot be undone. If deleting from inside the app does not work, write to terrorobado@gmail.com.
The entries in your diary and health record, your pet's profile and your photos belong to you. We store them so that the app works and syncs your data between your devices, and we do not pass them to third parties beyond what the Privacy Policy describes.
Cloud storage for photos is capped at 50 MB per account — that covers diary photos, your pet's avatar and health record attachments together. When it is full, new pictures stay on your phone and remain in the diary — only the cloud copy stops.
Some features — the conversation with Churchill, photo analysis, the monthly report, a second pet — belong to the Petfolio+ subscription.
For now, access to Petfolio+ is granted by promo code. Payment inside the app is not connected and we take no money for the subscription. When payment does arrive, the price, the term, auto-renewal, cancellation and refunds will be described in a separate document, "Subscription Terms", and it will exist before the first payment is ever taken.
Break the law, break or overload the service, impersonate someone else, or try to get at other people's data. If you do, we may restrict access to your account.
The app is provided "as is". We work to keep everything running, but we do not promise that it will be free of errors or interruptions. Churchill's observations are informational — see section 2.
Nothing here takes away the rights you have under the law of the country you live in and that cannot be signed away, including consumer rights.
These terms may be updated. The current version is always available in the app and at the public link, and the version date is stated in the document itself — right now it is 2026-09-30. That date is how you can tell the text has changed: the app does not yet send separate notifications about a new version.
